The hour when nobody is performing anymore: everyone is fed, the light has gone soft, the coffee is the right temperature, and nobody has anywhere to be. The good hour of a warm, loud home, drawn and printed on a tee.

What gets said out here once the polite version is switched off: the sayings, the comebacks, the lines your family repeats until they become law. From a home where people say exactly what they think. Printed exactly as said.

Everything the balcony watches all day: the fruit piles, the Friday market two streets down, the garden, the neighbour's laundry, the street cat who inspects everyone and acknowledges no one. Drawn by hand in a warm, loud diaspora home, then printed on tees

The designs that name it. Where the balcony stands, what the thread remembers, the keys we keep. Worn plain and proud.
